Signal terminals with PUSH IN connection: Universal PCB connectivity for industrial applications

Signal terminals offer a reliable and direct connection to the PCB, combining flexibility, robustness, and efficiency for industrial electronics. The modern PUSH IN spring-loaded connection enables simple, tool-free wiring for a wide range of applications.

These universally applicable terminals are available in pitches from 3.50 mm to 7.62 mm, ensuring high compatibility with a wide range of PCB layouts. Thanks to reflow-compatible variants as well as THT- and SMD-compatible versions, the components can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of manufacturing processes. Multi-tiered designs also enable a particularly compact device architecture – without compromising on accessibility or reliability.

Robust contact technologies and intelligent clamping mechanisms ensure consistently reliable connections, even under conditions of vibration, temperature fluctuations or frequent handling. This makes the signal terminals ideal for use in control cabinets, I/O modules and in measurement, monitoring and automation applications.

Thanks to their combination of flexibility, performance and ease of installation, Weidmüller signal terminals simplify the design-in process, reduce installation time and support efficient solutions for industrial electronics.

LSF-SMD product family – a compact solution for SMD soldering

LSF SMD spring connection for reflow solder (SMD)

The LSF-SMD meets the requirements for fully automated PCB assembly as an SMD component. Two SMD solder pads per pole ensure high mechanical stability in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 2. This enables applications on PCBs made of glass, ceramic, and aluminium composite materials to also benefit from PUSH IN technology. Weidmüller’s existing range of reflow-compatible LSF SMT terminals with THR soldering has been expanded to include a true SMD variant. The various module sizes ranging from 3,50 mm to 7,62 mm and the conductor exit angles of 90°, 135° and 180° allow for high package density with a maximum wire cross-section of 1,5 mm².

  • Fully automated PCB terminal (Tape-on-Reel) for efficient SMD processes.

  • Tool-free PUSH IN connection: Easy insertion and removal of conductors up to 1,5 mm², even without wire-end ferrule.

  • Compact design with intuitive operation and terminal connections at 90°, 135° and 180°.
