The OMNIMATE® story is of course only one aspect of history. We show you what else happened in selected years besides the OMNIMATE® milestones.
The first James Bond was released 60 years ago. A cult series started its triumphal procession around the world, but not only that: Our OMNIMATE® PCB connectors and terminals also started their triumphal procession!
In 1978, the video game Space Invaders was released and raised the popularity of video games to a new level.
In the same year, PUSH IN connection technology is used for the first time in an OMNIMATE PCB terminal, taking wiring to a new level.
In the meantime, there are countless successors to Space Invaders, but only one worthy successor to PUSH IN at OMNIMATE®.
In 2003 Michael Jordan ended his impressive career in the NBA. The NBA itself describes him as the greatest basketball player of all time.
In the same year, however, a new success story began: we launched the first power PCB terminal block.
Selfies have become an integral part of our world. In 2013, Oxford even named the word selfie its Word of the Year.
