PROCON-WEB TIA communication driver for Siemens S7 controllers

Easy data exchange between PROCON-WEB HMI & SCADA Runtime licencesand Siemens S7 PLCs

The new communication driver is easily configured in PROCON-WEB and is thus available for u-OS, for example. It enables bidirectional communication with Siemens S7 PLCs. The TIA driver connects to the controller and accesses the shared variables there. Configuration is easy in PROCON-WEB. Thanks to the connection to the u-OS Data Hub, the data is also available in u-OS.

Azure IoT Hub Connector für PROCON-Connect

Send PLC data from the edge to Microsoft Azure

The new Azure IoT Hub connection is easily configured in PROCON-Connect and is available for u-OS, for example. The connector enables bidirectional cloud communication between PROCON-Connect and the Azure IoT Hub. Users can easily configure functions such as ‘Device Twin’ and ‘Cloud2Device’, which facilitates integration into the Azure IoT Hub. u-OS devices can be easily integrated into the Azure IoT Hub via the Data Hub.

DNV-certified industrial security router with cellular modem

Secure ship communication with integrated 4G mobile communications

The security router is suitable for use on ships, offshore installations and in maritime industries for secure data and Internet connections. It provides stable mobile communications connections for data, communication and remote access in maritime applications. An integrated 4G modem, robust construction and intelligent routing functions ensure stable communication at sea. The router features a galvanically isolated power supply with IEC-62443-4-2-SL2-ready design, an LTE modem and DNV certification.

Layer 3 DIN-Rail Switch

Set up complex networks without a server cabinet

The Layer 3 DIN rail switch is ideal for setting up complex networks with many participants, especially when no server cabinet is available. It separates networks and routes statically and dynamically between networks. With static routing, RIP and VRRP, the switch offers central Layer 3 functions that reliably support even complex network structures. The switch combines Layer 3 functionality in a compact DIN rail form factor with an excellent price-performance ratio.

Flexible media converter with RJ45 and SFP port

Compact SFP media converter for flexible, cost-efficient networks

The media converter is ideal for space-critical networks in industry, building technology and IT, where media conversion is required. It flexibly converts network media to enable seamless connections in a wide variety of environments. An SFP port for free module selection and efficient technology ensure fast, flexible and cost-effective media conversion. The converter is designed to save space in tight installations. The SFP port allows media to be transferred to a fibre optic network.

BasicLine Series B – Unmanaged switches

Fast and secure data transmission for every application

The unmanaged switches forward data packets in system control networks. They are particularly suitable for demanding environments. To do this, the switches establish an Ethernet-based connection between different network participants. An unmanaged switch forwards data to the network recipients. Mechanisms such as Quality of Service optimise communication. Comprehensive approvals allow users to apply the switches in many areas. Users configure the products using DIP switches.

Advanced Line PoE managed Switches

Reliable Energy and Data transmission in infrastructure projects

The managed switches are suitable for infrastructure projects for use in road construction and renewable energies. They are used in wind turbines, storage facilities, on roads and traffic lights. They transmit data via copper and fibre optics with redundancy mechanisms and power via POE. The four SFP slots enable redundancy over long distances. With PoE and a power budget of up to 240 W, they can power many network devices. This switch has four Gigabit SFP slots, up to 240-watt PoE power budget, and an O-ring redundancty with a recovery time of 20 ms.

Managed PoE rack switch with 720 W power budget

Supplies more devices, saves space and relies on compact PoE power

The switch is suitable for automation, building management systems and traffic engineering or energy supply – wherever industrial PoE solutions matter. The switch supplies a large number of cameras, sensors and access points via PoE, reliably networks devices and ensures stable communication. With numerous connection options, the switch reliably supplies many devices and secures data and power connections. The switch combines 24 PoE ports, 720 W power and 4 SFP uplinks in a robust 19" design – ideal for demanding industrial applications.

u-remote IP20: CC-Link IE TSN Safety modules

Safe In- and Outputs for CC-Link IE TSN

The safety modules from u-remote support the safe control and diagnosis of factory automation systems. They reliably detect sensor signals and control actuators in networked automation systems. The modules comply with the common safety standards EN 61508 (up to SIL 3), EN 62061 (up to SILCL 3), and EN ISO 13849-1 (up to PL e, Cat. 4). Weidmüller and its partner Mitsubishi Electric are the world's first and currently only providers of safe CC-Link IE TSN safety I/O modules.

u-remote IP20: Differential analog input module

Continuous monitoring of cell voltages

The module monitors electrolysers for hydrogen production, fuel cells for electricity production and batteries. It records and transmits the voltages of individual cells or cell groups within electrolysis or fuel cell stacks and batteries. To do this, it measures the voltage difference between two consecutive channels, that are connected, for example, to the poles of a cell in a stack. Up to 15 individual voltages can be monitored per module. In total, an I/O station can monitor total voltages of up to 1200 V DC.

u-remote IP20: IO-Link master module

Integrate smart sensors and actuators easily, securely and flexibly.

The module is used in modern, decentralized automation systems with IO-Link devices - wherever transparency and efficiency counts. It connects the smart sensors and actuators with the higher-level control system, enabling end-to-end data communication and diagnostics. With four type A IO-Link ports and four additional integrated digital inputs, the module is a compact but scalable IO-Link solution. Compliant with the current IO-Link standard 1.1.4 and supported by a web-based configurator, all IO-Link devices can be easily integrated.

Modern touch panels with web HMI

Intuitive machine operation via touch panels with HMI software.

In automation, operators intuitively operate and monitor machines and processes using HMI panels. If users want to adjust production parameters, the panel serves as a user-friendly interface for implementing changes. The underlying software visualises the status of the machine. Widgets allow the user to easily edit and control parameters. The HMI panels are characterised by high quality hardware. In combination with the web-based HMI software, they are compatible with various controllers via communication drivers.
